Founded in mid-2021, Hothouse is a multi-purpose studio space in Minneapolis featuring drop-in dance, arts, and fitness classes for adults and teens. Whether you’re already involved in the local arts scene, an aspiring dance professional looking to bolster their training, or just a human who loves to move, Hothouse offers classes that celebrate the bliss of movement, and embrace you for who you are.

Come move with us, or make Hothouse your home: our space is available for rental to independent artists and arts organizations. Book a single session for rehearsal, or run your programming here. Like a community garden, filled with unique plots, the beauty of Hothouse is in the diversity of the people that fill our space.

Hothouse is operated by Rachel Doran and Laura Sukowatey, the same minds behind Minneapolis contemporary dance company Crash Dance Productions. As homegrown dancers, whose appreciation for learning has never wavered, Rachel and Laura believe in the abundance of the Twin Cities arts scene; Hothouse is the inclusive, welcoming hub where movement lovers of all kinds can gather and instill their own identity.
