Rentals

If you are a prospective/first-time renter, you must complete the form at the bottom of the page before booking your first rental. Do not book your rental after completing the form. Rentals booked without introductions from Hothouse will not be fulfilled.

Hothouse can be privately rented by independent artists, freelance instructors, and companies. Rental rates vary based on the type of event.

Private Rental rates:

S1: $16/hr
S2: $40/hr
S3: $18/hr
S4: $30/hr; Pilates reformer room (Contact us for info)

Pop Up Rental rates:

S1: $31/hour
S2: $55/hour
S3: $33/hour

Youth rentals

Rentals involving children are restricted to participants ages 11 and older for dance purposes only — we cannot accommodate rentals for parties. Youth rentals are restricted to the following days and times

Weekdays 11a-4p
Saturdays 1-5p

Rentals involving minors must be accompanied by a dance professional; children must be supervised in the Hothouse lobby and studios at all times.

First time renters, you will receive an email back from us to schedule an introduction before gaining access to the space after filling out the form below.

STUDIO SPECS

Studio 1: 800 sq ft, 40’w x 20’d

  • Sprung, marley floor

  • Sound system with auxiliary input & Bluetooth

  • Portable barres (accommodates 6-8)

Studio 2: 2,000 sq ft, 50’w x 40’d

  • Sprung, marley floor

  • Sound system with auxiliary input & Bluetooth

  • Portable barres (accommodates 12-16)

  • Mood lighting

Studio 3: 920 sq ft, 40’w x 23’ d

  • Sprung, marley floor

  • Sound system with auxiliary input & Bluetooth

  • Fitness equipment (available for additional fee)

  • Mood lighting

Studio 4: 250 sq ft (10’W x 25’L)

  • (2) Merrithew-Stott Rehab Reformers, with traditional accessories.

  • Various exercise equipment, i.e. fusion balls, resistance bands, etc.

  • Barres


Pop Up Rentals

For freelance instructors of any kind holding for-profit events that clients attend. If you’re a freelance instructor looking for a space to hold your pop up class, this option is for you! When it’s time for your pop up, we’ll get the space open and ready for you, and we’ll make sure your clients sign our liability waiver, but otherwise the space is yours! Pop Up rentals are booked in increments of 2 hours.

Private Rentals

For independent artists and companies, seeking space to hold their lessons, rehearsals, photo/video shoots, livestreaming, or for anyone just looking to dance around in a cool space! Our rental rates vary by a studio space; reservations have a 1-hour minimum length, and additional time can be booked in 30 minute increments, up to 4 hours.

Private rentals must be reserved and paid online. If you’re interested in a recurring rental, we’ll work together to find a consistent day/time that suits your schedule, before you book. 

We offer an exclusive discount for independent artists planning to use the space for personal work time, with a maximum studio occupancy of 2. This discount does not apply to anyone using the space for any kind of for-profit activity (like private lessons or livestreaming), or any rental for groups of 3 or more.

Studio 4 Rentals (Pilates Reformer)

Hothouse has a small Pilates Reformer studio available to rent, for qualified instructors. Renters can hold private and semi-private lessons in our space.

Studio 4 is available for rental for certified Reformer instructors only. Proof of active certification is required prior to making any reservations. Proof of insurance is recommended.

$30/hr; discounts available for recurring/ bulk rentals.
